UC Family Weekend 2025

Family Weekend 2025 registration is sold out. We look forward to seeing you on campus for an action-packed weekend of events!

If you are not registered, we would still love to welcome you to campus. Please see our unregistered schedule for all of the events you are able to attend without registering. 

Check-in for UC Family Weekend registrants is held in 455 Steger Student Life Center. 

  • Early Check-In: Monday, September 29 (12-4pm) and Tuesday, September 30 (12-4pm)
  • Regular Check-In: Friday, October 3 (2-8pm)
  • Late Check-In: Saturday, October 4 (9am-12pm)

At Check-In, you will receive:

  • Your nametag (which each guest is required to wear as it serves as your ticket to access Family Weekend events)
  • Events schedule
  • Fun swag and giveaways
  • The 2025 Family Weekend t-shirt for the first 5,000 guests!


Family Weekend is held each fall to give parents and families the opportunity to spend time with their student, experience life at UC, and explore our city of Cincinnati. It's a schedule-packed weekend of events to enjoy with your family. Everyone is welcome and we have activities for all ages from 0 to 100!

Family Weekend registration opens Tuesday, August 5 at 1:00 pm EST. Registration closes when event registration reaches capacity. We encourage you to register early as the event does sell out. Add-on/optional activities also fill quickly, such as the Jazz Brunch Riverboat Cruise and Bearcats Canvas. All sales are final and we are unable to process late registrations. 

  • Registration is $15 per person.
  • You must also purchase a registration for your student. 
  • Registration includes admission to all activities listed on the schedule except parking vouchers, football tickets and add-on events (Jazz Brunch Riverboat Cruise, Bearcats Canvas sessions) which have an additional cost. Space is limited for these events and many of these fill up/sell out VERY quickly.
  • After you purchase your Family Weekend registration, you will be sent a link to purchase a parking pass for the weekend. 

UC Family Weekend will have events scheduled from Friday October 3 through Sunday October 5. You can explore the schedule of events to assist you in determining your arrival time to campus and making your travel plans. We will be adding more to the schedule as we get closer to the weekend! Kick-off time for Saturday's football game will be announced approximately one week before Family Weekend. Accordingly, Saturday's schedule will be finalized and shared once game time is announced.
