The University of Cincinnati immunization requirements must be completed prior to the start of your student's first semester. The deadline August 25, 2025.

Required immunizations for general population students:

• Hepatitis B: 3 Hepatitis B vaccine doses OR 2 Heplisav-B doses OR Hepatitis B surface antibody (HBSAB) titer*
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccine doses OR MMR titer*
• Meningitis A (Meningococcal Quadrivalent): One dose if you are 16 to 21 years of age. Dose must be given on/after 16th birthday.
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Acellular Pertussis): One dose given within the past 10 years.
• Varicella: 2 vaccine doses OR Varicella antibody (VZVIgG) titer*

If your student is an international student, they must complete a health screening prior to their arrival to campus.

Additional vaccinations are required for students in health professions programs. 

Step 1: Review below to see which immunizations your student is required to have. If you have questions on immunizations or the policy, please contact UHS at UHSTracking@ucmail.uc.edu.

Step 2: Your student should go to Bearcats Health App and use their UC username and password to access their account.

Step 3: Once in the Bearcats Health App system, download and print the standardized immunization form. You must use this form, no other forms will be accepted by the system. DO NOT attach outside documents to your form. If other forms or documents are attached, your form will be rejected by the system.

Step 4: You can get the required immunizations through your medical provider or University Health Services (513-556-2564). Have your medical provider complete, sign, and stamp the form.

Step 5: Upload your completed form through your Bearcats Health App online account. You will be notified within your account dashboard if you are missing items, or if you are fully compliant

All incoming undergraduate, graduate and professional students attending main campus, UC Blue Ash, and UC Clermont must comply with this policy.
