On behalf of the University, we would like to welcome new students, parents, and families to the Bearcat Family. Parent & Family Programs is excited to partner with you to ensure your student's success at UC. As a UC Family, you are an essential part of your student's experience. We encourage you to become an engaged and informed resource for your student. Our office is here to help! UC is a large and complex institution and our goal is to make it as easy on you as possible to support and guide your student. We offer several important resources to support you.

UC Family Portal
The UC Family Portal provides ongoing campus updates on student life, support services, upcoming events and deadlines, family events, involvement opportunities, and more throughout the year. The platform allows you to create a full profile to customize your experience and receive the specific types of information you want at the frequency that works best for you and your family.
UC Families Facebook Page
Our Facebook page gives you the opportunity to connect with UC and other families. "Like" and "follow" us on Facebook for frequent updates on campus happenings, events, and approaching deadlines.
Family Guides
As a family member, you are an integral part of your student's success. It is important for your student to see you as a partner in their academic, social, and personal success. Prior to the start of college, we encourage you to talk to your student about the situations they may encounter in college and share your expectations about their behavior. Our Family Guides provide resources that will help you initiate these important conversations.

Family Weekend
Family Weekend 2020 will be held September 11-13. More details are forthcoming. We encourage you to join us for this fun-filled opportunity to spend time with your student, experience life at UC, and explore our city of Cincinnati. It's a schedule-packed weekend of events to enjoy with your family. Everyone is welcome and we have activities for all ages from 0 to 100!

I noticed that there were 2 phone numbers listed -- one ending 1200 and one ending 4153. Which is preferred?
