Through approximately 65 undergraduate majors (and 22 graduate programs), the College of Arts & Sciences (A&S) provides a broad platform of scholarly opportunity, led by our award-winning faculty. Through internships, foundational career exploration and real-world problem-solving challenges, we prepare the next generation of explorers and visionaries to make an impact wherever they go.

As the academic home to more than 8,000 undergraduate students, A&S is the largest college on the University of Cincinnati campus. Here, students have the opportunity to choose a course of study from among 65 majors, 52 certificate programs, and 28 minor programs, across 22 departments. All of this means that your student will create an educational path that’s as unique and diverse as their interests. As an A&S student, they will learn from a diverse, dedicated, and award-winning faculty who are actively engaged in scientific and community-based research and bring that new knowledge into the classroom. In addition, the A&S team of professional advisors is here to assist your student with academic and career guidance to set each student up for success. At A&S, every student graduates with outside-the-classroom internship or research experiences that help them build their resumes and stand out in today’s competitive job market.
