Testing Services

Testing Services offers a variety of testing-related support services, including accommodated testing, proctoring, standardized testing, test prep, and assessment of prior learning credit. 

Accommodated Testing

Testing Services coordinates the administration of classrooms tests for students with disabilities at University of Cincinnati. NOTE: Students must be registered with UC's Accessibility Resources to receive testing accommodations and to take tests in our center. 

Proctoring Services 

Testing Services provides proctoring services for UC courses upon professor approval. In order to use UC's Testing Services, your instructor must submit your exam and a completed cover sheet to our office before you may schedule your appointment. 

Standardized Testing & Test Prep

Testing Services offers test prep and standardized testing for examinations such as the GRE, GRE-subject tests, LSAT, PRAXIS, SAT, TOEFL, and more, conveniently on UC's campus.

Prior Learning Assessment

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) is a way for students to earn UC credit for knowledge gained outside of the traditional classroom. PLA involves the identification, documentation, assessment, and recognition of learning acquired through formal and informal study. This may include work and life experience, training, independent study, military experience, volunteering, travel, hobbies, and family experiences. There are different ways to earn PLA credit.
