The UC Women's Center is committed to the personal and professional growth of women and gender minorities by facilitating action, promoting intersectional justice, and fostering connections for all students. We strive to challenge gender inequities and advance the rights of women and gender minorities by elevating student activism and leadership through innovative and transformative programming.
The Women's Center is passionate about empowering women, transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary students to step into leadership roles at UC and in the world beyond. Our programming equips students with the skills necessary to organize, manage, and lead. Our commitment to both students' professional development and building community networks allows students in our leadership programs to connect with other leaders so they may find mentorship on and off campus.
Connection is extremely important to us and to you! We invite students to build community via the UC Women's Center by hanging out in our space and grabbing a coffee or tea, doing their homework, hosting a meeting, participating in a program, or checking out our student organizations.
The Women's Center is committed to uplifting women and gender minority experiences and contributions with our signature programs, such as Love Your Body Week, the Black Feminist Symposium, and our annual awards.
