A University of Cincinnati (UC) degree is one of the best investments you can make for your student's future. In fact, UC has been recognized as offering the Best Bang for Your Buck in the country by Mic.

So let's talk affordability...

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Your student must complete Cincinnati's application by December 1 to be considered for UC merit-based scholarships. Need-based aid is determined by information they provide when submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your student will likely need your help to complete the FAFSA, so we recommend sitting down and completing it together!

  • Darwin T. Turner Scholarship: Established in 1976, the Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program honors an African-American student who, at the age of 16, was the youngest person ever to graduate from the University of Cincinnati. UC offers this scholarship program to promote academic excellence and provide leadership opportunities to incoming students.
  • Metropolitan Rate/Reciprocity Agreement: Many residents of Kentucky and Indiana are eligible to attend the University of Cincinnati at or near in-state tuition costs. That’s like receiving a $15,000 scholarship each year! Read more about these special tuition rates. >>
  • Cincinnati Pride Grant: Cincinnati Public School graduates who are also Pell Grant eligible will be considered for the Cincinnati Pride Grant. This grant covers the cost of tuition at any University of Cincinnati campus.
  • More than just the bottom line: Beyond offering financial aid and scholarships, the University of Cincinnati will prepare your student for life after graduation. Our focus on experience-based learning is woven throughout our campus community.

A college education is likely the most important investment you and your student will ever make -- and you can afford it! Learn more about UC's financial aid resources. >>
