Living on Campus

The residential experience at UC is focused on the four core values of Learning, Leadership, Inclusion, and Community. As a student living on-campus in one of our communities, your student will have the opportunity to engage with others while developing their identity as a Bearcat. Our residential communities promote a space for students to explore, engage, and grow through a variety of opportunities. Our professional and student residence hall staff are devoted to ensuring your student's experience at UC is enjoyable, safe, and creates lifelong memories. Learn more about living on campus, getting involved, what to bring/what not to bring, and more in the attached presentation.

Fall 2020 Housing

Following President Pinto's message on June 11, all students with a completed housing application who want to live in university housing will be accommodated this fall. As he stated, UC will work with students to find the best solution for their needs, including modified assignments and relaxing the housing requirement for first-year students. If you have concerns, you are encouraged to reach out to uchousing@uc.edu before July 15.

Now that the President has provided direction for our return to campus, University Housing is refining plans for room selection, safety guidelines and move-in logistics. Watch for email communications from UC Housing near the end of June/early July with details about the assignment process, as well as room selection time slots. We expect room selection to take place in July. More information is available on the application website.

To be prepared:

  • Visit our Communities pages to review room and community options.
  • Encourage your student to log into the Housing Portal to ensure their application is complete, fee/deposit is submitted, roommate groups are verified, and preferences are updated.
