Login to CatalystCampus Services provides services and programs that enhance your student's UC experience and support their college journey. Some of our key services for incoming students include:
Students are allowed to have cars, as long as they purchase a parking permit each semester. Permits will go on sale later this summer. The cost for student permits will be added to your student's bill through the Office of the Bursar. This is the only payment method available for student permits. A how-to video is available to walk you through the process. A "Fast Pass" can be purchased for a one time fee (50% off through August 1). The Fast Pass is a contactless, convenient way to get in and out of the garage quickly and hands-free. Fast Passes ordered online can be picked up in the Parking Services office, located in 4 Edwards Center, once we return to campus. Students who do not purchase a Fast Pass are able to scan their UC ID to enter and exit the garage.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, creating a safe and healthy dining environment for our students, faculty, and staff is our top priority. Food Services staff on campus are working hard to make adjustments to ensure we can continue to provide high quality dining experience while complying with new guidelines from state and local public health officials. We will continue to alter services as circumstances evolve. First-year students living in University Housing are required to have an Unlimited Meal Plan the first year. With four dining centers, multiple grab-and-go locations and several national retail brands, the choices for convenient, nutritious dining on campus are numerous. If your student does not live on campus, they can still take advantage of the dining centers. Campus Dining Passes are offered for commuting students and those who live off-campus so they can advantage of the dining centers at a cost savings.
The residential experience at UC is focused on the four core values of Learning, Leadership, Inclusion, and Community. As a student living on-campus in one of our communities, your student will have the opportunity to engage with others while developing their identity as a Bearcat. Our residential communities promote a space for students to explore, engage, and grow through a variety of opportunities. Our professional and student residence hall staff are devoted to ensuring your student's experience at UC is enjoyable, safe, and creates lifelong memories. Learn more about living on campus in our earlier Family Orientation post.
UC Bookstores have five convenient locations to purchase or rent textbooks, course materials, supplies, and UC gear. The staff offer expert assistance on campus and online. Students can shop with confidence since UC Bookstores offer all required course materials in multiple formats and affordability options.
Campus Recreation is committed to providing your student with the ability to start or continue focusing on their physical and mental wellness. From the Campus Recreation Center to virtual workouts, nutrition, and training sessions, students can work toward their personal goals.
